About Elijah

Hi, I’m Elijah Gioia, a 6’5” Center (PF) from Hayden High School, Colorado. Basketball has been my passion from the moment I could hold a ball. I play with discipline, determination, and heart, and I strive to be more than just a player—I aim to be a leader, teammate, and role model.

I am a follower of Jesus Christ, and my faith guides every aspect of my life. Whether on the court, in the classroom, or in my community, I seek to exemplify love, integrity, and perseverance.

My goal is to play college basketball at a Christian institution, where I can grow athletically, academically, and spiritually.

I had the chance to showcase my skills, receive valuable feedback from college coaches, and gain exposure to recruiters at this regional camp. It pushed me to perform at my best and refine my game.

Junior Day Men’s Basketball National Showcase

Location: University of Delaware, Newark, DE Date: Aug 1–3, 2024


Competing in a DI arena against top high school players from across the country was an incredible experience. Representing Colorado, I challenged myself, grew my leadership skills, and learned how to contribute to a team at the highest level.

PGC Basketball – Point Guard College


Location: Adams State University, Alamosa, CO Date: Jul 2–6, 2024


This 5-day, 4-night camp gave me an opportunity to develop my point guard skills, enhance my basketball IQ, and compete against some of the best high school players. The experience strengthened my leadership and decision-making on the court.

PGC Basketball – Scoring College

Location: American International College, Springfield, MA

Date: Aug 5–9, 2024


During this 5-day, 4-night camp, I focused on offensive skills, shooting, and scoring strategies. Competing in a college-level environment challenged me to improve my game and taught me how to contribute effectively to a team at a higher level.

I strive to lead by example and show Christ’s love in everything I do. My ultimate goal, on or off the court, is to positively impact others while pursuing excellence.

Whether I excel or struggle on the court, I will always encourage, uplift, and support my teammates to be their best selves.
